Chemical Peels

Prince George

What is a chemical peel?

A chemical peel is a procedure in which chemicals are applied to the surface of the skin to exfoliate the skin. At Self, we use medical grade peels from AlumierMD.

Chemical peels can help improve

  • the tone and texture of the skin

  • the signs of aging

  • hyperpigmentation.

Before your peel:

  • do not use retinoid products for at least 7 days prior to your appointment.

  • do not use products with high levels of AHA or BHA for at least 7 days prior to your appointment.

  • avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
